Race Mechanic

We’re looking for an experienced Race Mechanic to join our dynamic race team.

The right candidate will be:

  • A real team player
  • Able to work quickly and quietly in a professional manner
  • Able to undertake physical work under a variety of conditions
  • Holder of full driving licence and passport
  • Able to work evenings and weekends when required
  • Able to travel

As part of this role you will perform the following:

  • Work as part of a close-knit team of race mechanics both in the workshop and trackside through car preparation, set up, running, fault diagnosis and set down
  • Assist with garage and awning set up and set down
  • Understand and carry out instructions quickly and without supervision
  • Assist Crew Chief and Engineers when cars are under Parc Fermé conditions
  • Understand run plans and ensure car is ready in good time without supervision

Part Time Truckie​

We’re looking for a part time Truckie to join our dynamic race team.

The right candidate will be:

  • A real team player
  • Able to work quickly and quietly in a professional manner
  • Able to undertake physical work under a variety of conditions
  • Holder of full LGV Class 1 driving licence, valid CPC and passport
  • Able to work evenings and weekends when required
  • Able to travel

As part of this role you will perform the following:

  • Drive trucks to and from each circuit, ensuring trucks are always clean, legal and presentable
  • Load and unload truck with assistance from Race Mechanics
  • Work as part of a close-knit team, assisting with fuel and tyre preparation as required
  • Assist with garage and awning set up and set down
  • Understand and carry out instructions quickly and without supervision

CNC Turner setter/operator

We’re looking for a full time CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our foreward-thinking engineering team in our Machine Shop.

The right candidate will be:

  • A real team player
  • Able to work quickly and quietly in a professional manner
  • Able to operate and adapt CNC programmes using relevant programming system as well as operating tooling and machinery effectively
  • Able to produce precision components in a production environment, manufacture machined components to engineering drawings, using set work instructions and schedules
  • Able to work to production targets, maintaining accurate quality records and documentation as well as carrying out manual inspections and performing quality checks
  • Ideally experienced with Haas/FANUC, Mazak and manual lathes
  • Able to read technical drawings and design specifications
  • CAD/CAM experience with Gibbs Cam and Autodesk an advantage
  • Able to work effectively both as part of a team and under own initiative with a ‘can-do’ ethos

As part of this role you will perform the following:

  • Programming and operating new Mazak QT250CNC
  • Machining products for prototype, small batch and concept products mainly in the motorsport field
  • Work closely with the engineering team
