Back To The Scene Of 2019 GT4 Win.
Steller Motorsport are set to contest their second Intelligent Money British GT Championship race of the delayed 2020 season with the three hour enduro at Donington Park on Sunday 20 September.
The race falls a year after the Buckinghamshire-based team won the hotly contested GT4 class at the same venue at the 300th race in the Championship’s history.
In 2020 Steller have moved up to the premier GT3 class with a brand new Audi R8 LMS GT3.
The team was already running at class-leading pace in the latter stages of the two hour race at Brands Hatch with Sennan Fielding and Richard Williams finding their feet in a hugely experienced and competitive field.
Steller have committed to the remainder of the 2020 season with high hopes of progressing up the order in what is known to be a highly competitive GT3 package.
Team Principal Gary Blackham said:
“We’re delighted to be back at Donington Park, a circuit that we believe will suit the Audi well.
“It’s a big step forward from the GT4 car to this GT3 but we have already learned a lot about both our new package and the opposition.
“The objective is simple, move up the order, and show what the car, and this team, have to offer for the remainder of this season and into 2021.
“I have every confidence that we can continue to see better and better performance and results as this programme progresses.”
